Acai berries are the healthiest food ever grown on the planet. Yes, Acai berries is being referred to as a food because it can comfortably take the place of a meal over another other fruits. They are amazing berries offering nutritional value more than any other fruits. They can take turns to be high energy snack that helps you stay healthy in every possible way you can imagine. It is a beautiful black fruit with a lot of benefits attached to it, creating its uniqueness.
To recount a few, they:
- Are extremely high in anthocyanin, a form of plant antioxidant associated with the ability to lower cholesterol levels in the blood stream
- Are also rich in plant sterols that provide cardio-protective benefits to our cells. By preventing blood clots, improving overall blood circulation, and relaxing the blood vessels.
- Have powerful detoxification capacities in the human body and are a well-known traditional source of dietary fiber.
- Are very high in Vitamin C and ellagic acid, an immune-system-boosting combination that has been shown to suppress the growth of cancer

Among every benefits mentioned and those that were not mentioned, my striking fact was the possibility to make me age slowly, with the content polyphenol present in it. As a potential mother and an aspiring wife, added to the fact that I am a nurse and also a public health practitioner in the making (accomplishments I gladly take pride in). You would need:
¼ cup of yoghurt (plain flavored)
¼ cup of whole acai berries (frozen)
¼ cup of strawberry (frozen)
3 apricots (cut into halves)
1 orange (seeds removed and split into sections)
Put all into a blender and blend till until it is smooth
Note: Best consumed with a spoon because it would be thick. It can also go for roughly two servings
Yummy!!! This goes to show that you can digest good meals that won’t make you age. It works from your body, inside out. Other than using anti-aging creams with a lot of chemicals mixed in it. The skin would glow and also the fruit will work its magic in your body, adding to it, it possesses other amazing benefits listed above.
