Before we dive into the nifty gritty of today’s blog post, it would be good to acknowledge the different types of respiratory troubles or preferably issues that exist in health statistics. To mention a few we have asthma, bronchitis, cough, influenza, pneumonia and a host of others.
Asthma is extreme difficulty in breathing owing to inability to fully evacuate the lungs of stale air.
Bronchitis is the inflammation of the bronchial tubes owing to excess mucus in the lungs, caused by vicarious elimination of toxic wastes from the bloodstream to the lungs.
Coughs are caused mainly by the body’s attempt to rid itself of excess toxic mucus through the lungs and bronchial tubes; the toxins irritate tender lining of throat, causing the throat to ‘cough it up’.
Influenza is caused primarily by the body’s vulnerability to flu germs owing to extreme toxemia of the system, which results in excessive retention of toxic wastes, which impair immunity.
Pneumonia is the severe inflammation of lung tissues owing to vicarious elimination of highly toxic wastes through the respiratory system, which becomes infected by pathogenic bacteria as a result; due largely to excessive long-term consumption of pasteurized milk, refined starch and sugars.
I highlighted the meaning and causes of them just to give you an edge of where they all originated from. Today we know that a lot of health conditions can be traced back to improper nutrition. Sometimes, it is enough to change our eating habits to improve our health. The key to a better breathing consists, at least partly, in consuming some fresh vegetable and fruit juices on a daily basis.
As a nurse, my profession is one where we always end up prescribing and administering medications to patients, I always take pleasure in promoting an easy way out before any complication occurs. This is because for every medication assigned to a patient, the medication has a side effect and also an adverse effect. This is why I encourage on vegetable juicing whenever I can. Juice for Cold Prevention
1st Recipe- 2 lemons
-4 cups of raspberries
2nd Recipe -3/4 of a cup of carrot juice
-1/4 of a cup ginger juice
you can choose any of the two
Vitamin C Juice (helps prevent cold)
1/2 cup of cranberries
Vegetable Based Juice
1 cup of spinach leaves
2-6 garlic clove, depending on your ability to digest garlic
Juice for Easier Breathing:
2 sweet potatoes
Juice Recipe to Alleviate Asthma Problems
2 Garlic Cloves
4 Cabbage leaves
1 cup of Pineapple
After juicing (blending, mixing) the ingredients together in a centrifugal juicer, stir the obtained juice. Don’t forget to peel the carrots if you are not using organically grown produce. Peel the oranges, lime and grapefruits as well. Thank me later.
