It’s an honour to be nominated as a Beating Corona Hero by the board of The Future Project.

The Beating Corona Telethon celebrates hundred (100) people in Africa as heroes, champions, and the future who are resilient in safeguarding their communities. These heroes are everyday people - nurses, doctors, community actors and others on the frontlines of beating Corona across Africa.

I want to acknowledge and thank my amazing team @communeating_ng especially our Food Guardians @drchiomanwakanma and @nu_rella and of course the Communeating Chiefs, that I worked with; @sumtraceybrown, @julietezeigwe, @orchmaan, @ojirimiriam, @kech_destinedqueen, @lou_flame, @adegunloye_rachael, @obianujuorjiekwe, @jacqielambert, @trill_west, @amkingsolomon, @_eseosa__, @zatoothfairy.

Together, against all odds, at “The Communeating Table”, we coordinated food and health relief outreaches across eight (8) states in Nigeria during the lockdown - Lagos, Ogun, Enugu, FCT, Edo, Abia, Oyo, Nassarawa respectively.

Thanks to @diet234 for this community nutrition intervention programme and many thanks to our partners in 2020 @__whitebricks__, @ariellafitness, @_tahg, @hesstee_pharmacy, @smilewithme_foundation, @arkdotng, @myfirstmeals_ng, @sendfreight, @highflowfarmsltd, @mri_media, @givebacknigeria, @gamacfoundation and all Bread Winners who sent in donations. You are all blessed. Thanks for your support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Beating Corona Telethon will air today the 27th November 2020 on Pop Central TV (Dstv Ch 189) from 9 am - 6 pm WAT, celebrating me and other ninety-nine (99) heroes in the broadcast. Don’t miss this.

In commemoration of World Hepatitis Day on June 28

In commemoration of World Hepatitis Day on June 28th. We received a kind donation from an anonymous donor through one of our volunteers @kech_destinedqueen to hold an outreach.

We reached out to a few individuals, mainly teachers who have been out of work since the COVID-19 Lockdown and with little or no support to survive and a few other families in dire need of food. Also, nutrition and general health tips to curb the risk of hepatitis and stay healthy was incorporated into this outreach.

Thanks so much, team for the huge support and to our kind donor, we do appreciate you 🙏🏻 more wins in all your endeavours!

Each family bag contains: Food items already listed in previous post.
Each family also got a copy of the @diet234 #COVID19 safety guidelines and healthy Nutrition tip for the #COVID19 period and beyond.

Our #CommuneatingChiefs kept to the #COVID19 Volunteer safety guidelines shared with all #FoodHEs.

We appreciate the lengths our #FoodHes and #CommuneatingChiefs have gone to make sure our nominated families are fed and educated this period.
